Overview
The IEE personality type, also known as 'The Explorer', is characterized by a distinctive cognitive function stack that shapes their behavior and thought processes. In the Ego block, their dominant function is Extraverted Intuition (Ne), which drives their constant focus on possibilities, potential, and novel ideas. They are highly curious, novelty-seeking individuals who excel at connecting different concepts across various subjects. This is supported by their auxiliary function, Introverted Feeling (Fi), which allows them to form deep personal connections and understand people's psychological motivations.
Super-Ego Block
In the Super-ego block, IEEs have Extraverted Sensing (Se) as their role function and Introverted Thinking (Ti) as their vulnerable function. IEEs with SX7 tendencies channel their Ne-Fi energy into an intense focus on idealization, romance, and the pursuit of peak experiences in relationships. They have a powerful need to 'imagine something better than the desolate reality,' often viewing the world and their relationships through rose-colored glasses. These IEEs are marked by their 'impatient intensity' and propensity to fall in love quickly and intensely. They have a 'dreaming capacity that confuses dreams with reality,' leading them to idealize their partners and relationships to an extreme degree. SX7 IEEs can be incredibly charming and seductive, with a 'capacity to bewitch, hypnotize and deceive.' However, their constant seeking of excitement and novelty can make it difficult for them to maintain stable, long-term relationships.
