Cognitive Functions
Description
Charismatic and idealistic leader
Overview
The EIE personality type is characterized by a distinctive cognitive function stack that shapes their behavior and thought processes. In the Ego block, their dominant function is Extraverted Feeling (Fe), which drives their constant focus on emotional impact and manipulation of the emotional atmosphere. They are charismatic individuals who excel at influencing people's moods and inspiring others, often taking on leadership roles. This is supported by their auxiliary function, Introverted Intuition (Ni), which helps them envision profound, transcendent themes and long-term visions. Together, these conscious and valued functions make EIEs natural leaders and performers, always seeking to create meaningful change and inspire others towards grand ideals.
Super-Ego Block
In the Super-ego block, EIEs have Extraverted Thinking (Te) as their role function and Introverted Sensing (Si) as their vulnerable function. These conscious but not valued functions represent areas of difficulty for EIEs. They may struggle with pragmatic, efficiency-oriented thinking (Te), often preferring to solve problems through emotional impact rather than logical methods. They have an even harder time with physical comfort and day-to-day sensory experiences (Si), often neglecting their own physical needs in pursuit of their visions.
Super-Id Block
The Super-id block contains Introverted Thinking (Ti) as the suggestive function and Extraverted Sensing (Se) as the mobilizing function. These unconscious but valued functions represent areas of aspiration and growth for EIEs. They often need help with creating logical frameworks and principles (Ti), and desire to develop their willpower and ability to exert force in the environment (Se), though they may struggle to do so appropriately at first.
Id Block
Lastly, in the Id block, EIEs have Introverted Feeling (Fi) as the ignoring function and Extraverted Intuition (Ne) as the demonstrative function. These unconscious and not valued functions operate in the background. EIEs tend to ignore personal feelings and individual relationships (Fi) in favor of collective emotional atmospheres. They are capable of generating multiple possibilities and ideas (Ne) but don't value it for its own sake, preferring to focus on one profound vision.
Subtypes
EIEs with SO2 tendencies channel their Fe-Ni energy into a powerful drive for social importance and recognition. They present themselves as indispensable helpers and leaders within their social sphere, driven by a deep ambition to be seen as extraordinary. These EIEs excel at networking and creating connections, often becoming influential figures in their chosen fields. They are highly aware of social hierarchies and work tirelessly to climb the social ladder, using their charisma and helpfulness strategically to gain allegiance and respect.
